Linnea Brailsford

Associate Attorney

Linnea Brailsford is a family law attorney at Magnolia Law, where she is dedicated to protecting her clients’ best interests and guiding them through life’s most personal and complex legal challenges. Linnea represents individuals in all areas of family law, including divorce, child custody, child support, and community property matters. Known for her composure and clarity, she provides the steady guidance clients need to make informed decisions with confidence and peace of mind.

Linnea earned her Juris Doctor from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where she distinguished herself as a skilled advocate through her participation in trial advocacy competitions. She was a finalist in the school-wide Opening Statement Competition and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Pamela J. Baker of the East Baton Rouge Parish Family Court. Linnea also held a leadership role as an Executive Board Member of the Women Law Students Association, where she championed the advancement of women in law.

Before attending law school, Linnea spent nearly a decade as an elementary school teacher, most recently teaching in the Gifted and Talented Program in the East Baton Rouge Parish School System. Her years in education—marked by leadership, advocacy, and empathy—shaped her client-centered approach to family law. She understands the emotional impact of family transitions and remains deeply focused on achieving outcomes that preserve both her clients’ dignity and their children’s well-being.

Linnea serves on the Baton Rouge Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Council. She also contributes her time to the Bar’s Belly Up with the Bar Committee and Holiday Star programs.

Outside the office, Linnea enjoys serving as a float lieutenant in the Krewe of Artemis, participating in community and charitable events, and cheering on the LSU Tigers. She lives in Baton Rouge with her husband, Zack, and their dog, Sammy, and loves cooking, entertaining, and spending time outdoors.
